The summer transfer window is upon us and as each day passes on, more and more rumors continue emerging involving the future of certain players and there is one player in specific which has continuously been linked with a move to Barcelona, that player is Aaron Ramsey.

Aaron Ramsey has spent over 5 years performing for Arsenal and the Welshman is believed to be one of the rising stars of the Premier League club. In the previous season, Ramsey made a total of 29 league appearances and it seems like he has attracted the attention of Barcelona who are rumored to be preparing an offer in the region of up to €50 million in order to sign the 24 year old player.

Barcelona has a transfer ban which prohibits the Spanish club from utilizing the services of any player that they sign until January of 2016 but this has not stopped them from searching around the transfer market as they have already made a move after signing the Spanish winger, Aleix Vidal from Sevilla.

Aleix Vidal will not be able to play an official match for Barcelona until 2016 and the same thing might happen with Aaron Ramsey if they decide to lure him away from the Emirates Stadium but according to Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger, this transfer is unrealistic.

“It is not realistic. Believe me, Barcelona know us well. They have gone through transfers with us. If they want someone they call me,” Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger said.

Arsene Wenger is expected to cut loose some of his players during the approaching summer transfer window but those players that he is planning to offload are fringe players, those who do not play a very important role in the team which is the case of: MikelArteta and AbouDiaby who only made a combined total of 7 appearances in the previous season.
